Good day to all!
I have exciting news for the national conference March 9-12...
We wanted to share the good news that we’ve extended our Early Bird registration to February 20th! We know it’s tough to arrange schedules and budgets, and we’re hoping this extension will be beneficial to your friends and colleagues.
Please feel free to spread the word and share this opportunity with your network. You can download one of our images or visit Expo Ambassador | AORN Global Surgical Conference and Expo to access some fun videos. We will be doing a drawing for those who post to social and tag us, so be sure to add #AORN2024. Here’s some suggested copy:

If you are interested in serving within our chapter for the upcoming year, here is your chance! We are in need of the following officers: President Elect, Treasurer, Board Members and Nominating Committee Members. Please fill out the attached form and send back to Jennefer Payne @ jennefer.l.payne@vumc.org. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me or one of the chapter officers. We would love to have you serve your chapter and represent your nurses!
In lieu of our February meeting, we will have a community service day again with One Generation Away. We had so much fun and provided such a great service to the community, that we wanted to do it again. I hope that you can join us Saturday, February 17 (7:30-10:00am) at Maplewood High School 401 Walton Lane Nashville, TN 37216. Everyone is invited, so bring your kids, your neighbors, your coworkers, and friends. This is an outdoor event (rain or shine), so please dress accordingly.
Our Mobile Pantry offers fresh produce, dry goods, and more to anyone in need — no questions asked! Food is distributed starting around 8:30 a.m. Volunteers, please arrive at 7:30 a.m. No registration is required to volunteer. All ages are welcomed (children must be supervised).
