I am a current Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) student at Walden University, preparing for my second clinical practicum. My first practicum will begin in November and conclude in January, and I am now looking ahead to secure my next preceptor and site placement for continued clinical learning.

I am seeking a knowledgeable and supportive preceptor who can help me expand my skills in managing complex, high-acuity patients. My primary areas of interest include intensive care (ICU), emergency medicine, and trauma, particularly within cardiovascular, surgical, or transplant units. However, I am also open to opportunities in other acute or hospital-based specialties, as I strongly believe that every patient encounter and clinical experience offers valuable learning.

My nursing career began in 2015 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and I have since worked my way up to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). I currently work in a neuro and pulmonary acute care unit, caring for patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, post-brain surgery recovery, and acute respiratory failure requiring ventilator support.

I am looking for a preceptor who enjoys mentoring students in clinical reasoning, procedural skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I am eager to learn, dependable, and committed to growing as an advanced practice nurse who can deliver safe, high-quality care to adult and geriatric populations in acute and critical settings.
